Ci Xiao Shan is a cat and dog cafe in a flat on the 23rd floor of the Liutang Building on Rongshu Road in Xixiang, Bao'an, Shenzhen, near Liutang station. It is the Bao'an branch of a small Shenzhen chain with shops in Luohu, Longhua and Nanshan. The space is compact and holds many cats and a few dogs. A notice at the door states that visitors enter at their own risk of scratches.

The ticket includes self-service drinks and no time limit, and besides the animals there are board games, Nintendo Switch consoles, plaster figure painting and perler bead crafts. Tiantian Chong Shu is a pet shop with a cat cafe on the second floor of 243 Hongming Road in Yunpu, Huangpu District, Guangzhou, above a traditional dessert shop. Ximao Suo is a small cat and dog lounge in an apartment unit, Room 1407 of Tower C in the Shimao Xicheng complex on Daxue East Road in Xixiangtang, Nanning, a short walk from Guangxi University metro station. It is inside the residential compound: visitors walk in from the Shimao Xicheng entrance and call the shop to be let through the door downstairs. Cats and a few dogs, each with its own name, share the room, and the shop also offers pet boarding. The business was registered in April 2024. Visits have cost about 33 yuan per person.

Maobubu is a pet cafe on Hubin Road in Sancha, in Chengdu's Eastern New Area within Jianyang, about 100 m from the back gate of Chengdu Sport University and next to a Lingshi Henmang snack shop. More than twenty cats live here alongside a capybara, ferrets, Angora rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs and some reptiles and other exotic pets. The room is decorated in a vintage French style with photo corners, and there are board games and video games. Visits are not time-limited.
