Mao Yin is a cat cafe in the Xingfuli Yaju complex beside the China Resources Center off Jinsha Road in Longhu, Shantou. The wood-panelled room is home to a good number of friendly cats, and staff introduce each cat's character. Visitors are given disinfectant on arrival and a lint roller when they leave, and order coffee or other drinks.

Zhong Yi Zhi Mao is a cat cafe on the ground floor of the Wei Space building on the north side of the Xinghu City complex on Shanchong Road in Longhu, Shantou. Its cats include Ragdolls, Golden Shaded British Shorthairs and gingers, and staff know each cat's name and temperament. Visitors pay a set price that includes drinks, and lint rollers are handed out at the door. The shop also offers bead-craft (pindou). The cats are liveliest in the morning, and weekend afternoons can mean a short wait.
Wuhou de Mao Cat Cafe

Wuhou de Mao is a long-running cat cafe in the Bixiazhuang residential area of Longhu, Shantou, about fifty metres in from the Qihe clothing shop. Around ten cats live in the Japanese-style room, including a friendly ginger that settles on visitors' laps. Visitors wash their hands and put on a gown provided by the shop, and each guest orders at least one drink; the hand-brewed coffee is well regarded. Afternoons are the quietest time to visit.

Fengzi de Dian is a cafe and guesthouse in the hills above Qing'ao Bay on Nan'ao Island, in Houlan Village. The castle-style building has cat murals, a garden with fountains and a viewing terrace looking over the bay, and a group of friendly cats lives on the premises. Non-staying visitors order coffee or drinks to spend time with the cats. The road up is narrow and steep, so it is easiest to reach by car or taxi.

This pet cafe is upstairs from Maofei Durian Pizza in the second phase of the Wanda Jinjie street at Wanda Plaza in Chikan, Zhanjiang. Cats and dogs share the space with a capybara that has its own pool, and other animals on show have included alpacas, corgis, rabbits, ducks and a pig. Visitors order a drink and interact with the animals, and staff clean the rooms throughout the day.

Tushan Mao is a long-running cat cafe on the second floor at the end of the Fengdu Road pedestrian street in Zhenjiang, Shaoguan, near the Fengcai Tower; a narrow staircase leads up from the street. Gingers, Ragdolls and other cats live in the Japanese-style wooden room. Visitors buy a package that includes entry, a drink and cat treats, with no time limit, and staff show newcomers how to interact with the cats. Drink cups carry cartoon portraits of the shop's cats, and lint rollers are handed out on the way out. The shop also offers pet grooming.
