Wangdefu is a three-storey pet cafe on Wenhua Lane, the student street near Green Lake and Yunnan University. Large and medium dogs are on the ground floor, small dogs on the second floor, where shoes are swapped for slippers, and the cats have the third floor to themselves. Entry is charged by the half hour, and treats can be bought to feed the animals. Staff explain each animal's name and temperament.

Tata Party is a pet cafe on the fifth floor of the Kunbaida Xintiandi mall on Dongfeng West Road, by Nanping pedestrian street. Cats share the space with many dogs, including Shiba Inus and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, an alpaca, a mini pig and rabbits. Visitors buy freeze-dried treats and cat sticks to feed the animals. It is part of the Tata Party chain.

Pupu Miemie is a cat cafe on Xingke Road in Xishan, near the Nanya Fengqing Diyicheng shopping area. The cats are affectionate and visitors can stay without a time limit on the set packages for two. The business also runs a cattery, and kittens are sold.

You Xi Miao is a gaming club, cat cafe and bar on the second floor of 215 Qixing Street in Lijiang's Gucheng District. Visitors can play with the resident cats and rent private rooms with PS5 consoles, and the menu covers coffee, milk tea, lemon tea, cocktails and bar snacks. It stays open late.

Yu Mao Yu Ni is a two-storey cat cafe on Xingguang Street in Linping, next to Linping Mountain Park, with roadside parking outside. Food and drinks are made on the ground floor and the cat room is upstairs, where Maine Coons, Ragdolls and other breeds roam among the tables. Visitors disinfect their hands and put on shoe covers at the door. Packages with a drink allow unlimited time with the cats, and staff explain which cats like to be held. The cafe serves desserts and simple meals, and has arcade machines and a Nintendo Switch.
Jinzhi Xi Mao Munchkin Cat Cafe Wujiao Tianjie
Hangzhou, Zhejiang
Jinzhi Xi Mao is a cat cafe devoted to short-legged Munchkin cats, on the fourth floor of the Longfor Wujiao Tianjie mall in Xiasha, Qiantang District, with direct access from Exit A of Gaosha Road station on Metro Line 1. More than 20 Munchkins live in the light wood-panelled room, along with some Ragdolls and British Shorthairs, and many of them come up to visitors to be stroked. Visitors buy a drink or a package that includes unlimited time with the cats, and the menu has coffee, fruit teas and cat-paw cakes. A second branch is in the Binjiang Longfor Tianjie mall.
Jinzhi Xi Mao Munchkin Cat Cafe Binjiang Tianjie

This branch of the Jinzhi Xi Mao Munchkin cat cafe is on the second floor of the Binjiang Longfor Tianjie mall on Jiangnan Avenue, close to lifts 9 to 12. The cafe specialises in short-legged Munchkin cats, which roam a spacious room where visitors can also watch films and play games. Visitors order drinks or a package that includes time with the cats.
Mao Li You Xian Devon Rex Cat Cafe

Mao Li You Xian is a coffee shop by day and a small bar in the evening on Tianmushan Road in Xihu District, next door to a Hangzhou United Bank branch. Its resident cats are Devon Rex, a curly-coated breed that sheds little, and they wander among the tables and rub against visitors' legs. Visitors order coffee, cocktails or snacks, and cat treats and canned food are sold for feeding. The shop also offers bathing and grooming for customers' own pets, and dogs are allowed in.
