Purrfect Pause Cat Cafe
Boulder, Colorado
Purrfect Pause Cat Cafe is a cat lounge, boutique and small cafe on Arapahoe Avenue in East Boulder, and serves as the shelter partner of RezDawg Rescue. All of its cats, from seniors to kittens, come from RezDawg foster homes, are already socialized and are available for adoption through the rescue's application. The cage-free lounge, decorated as a colorful cat forest, is visited in hourly sessions with a reduced rate for children aged 8 to 12, students, seniors and military. No one under eight may enter, children 14 and under must stay with a parent, and guests remove their shoes at the door, with socks provided. Reservations are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome when space allows. Coffee, tea and snacks are sold along with cat toys and cat-themed merchandise, and the cafe runs themed events and educational resources on cat care.
