Pee ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌​‌​​​‌​​​‌​‌​‌‌​​​​​‌​​‌‌​‌​⁠Pee's Katzencafé is a small cat cafe on Thomasstraße in Neukölln, a few minutes on foot from the U7 Karl-Marx-Straße and U8 Leinestraße stations. Opened on 1 August 2013 by Andrea Kollmorgen, it was Berlin's first cat cafe. Its original cats, Pelle and Caruso, retired in 2024, and three resident cats, Skadi, Ylvi and Odin, now live in the cafe and move freely among the tables. The menu is cooked fresh from organic ingredients and includes homemade cakes and tortes, quiche, flammkuchen, sandwiches and breakfast plates, which must be reserved at least two days ahead. Guests who take a seat are expected to order, or pay a small cat-petting fee instead. There is no minimum age for children, but prams stay outside and visitors may not bring their own cats. Table reservations are taken for groups of three or more, and payment is cash only.

Zur ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌​​​​‌​​‌‌​‌‌‌​​​​​​‌​​​​‌​‌‌⁠Mieze is a cat and music cafe on the northern end of Wilmersdorfer Straße in Charlottenburg, near the U7 Richard-Wagner-Platz station. Biologist and pianist Caroline Braune opened it in November 2015, and a piano stands among the tables for occasional concerts. Six rescued cats live in the cafe, some of them from war zones. They are permanent residents rather than cats for adoption, and they can withdraw at any time to a rest room that guests may not enter. The cafe is small, with seven tables, and staff assign seats; booking by phone is recommended on weekends, in school holidays and on cold days. House rules are strict: sleeping cats must not be disturbed, and children are admitted from age 10. The menu has homemade cakes, vegan and vegetarian options, small snacks and four French-press coffees. Payment is cash only, and gift vouchers can be bought online.

Catnip ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​‌‌‌​​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌​‌‌‌‌‌​‌​‌​‌​​‌⁠Coffee is a cat cafe on Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain, between Frankfurter Tor and Warschauer Straße station. Richard Gottlob and Patrick Frauenheim opened it in 2023 after visiting cat cafes in Hong Kong and Singapore, and four cats adopted from the Berlin animal shelter live there: Mr. Snuggles, Furby, Simba and Princess Junko. The cafe was set up with the shelter, a vet and the veterinary office, with climbing walkways, scratching posts, sound-absorbing ceiling panels and a private room the cats reach through a cat flap. Visitors ring the bell to enter, read the house rules and choose a table; there is no entry fee, reservations are not taken, and the minimum age is 10 on all days. The menu covers coffee, tea and matcha drinks, homemade cakes, muffins, brownies and bagels with vegan and vegetarian options, and the cafe sells mugs, bags and its own matcha.

Katzentempel ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​‌‌‌‌​​‌​​‌‌‌​‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‌​‌​‌‌​‌‌‌​⁠Berlin Mitte is the Berlin branch of the Katzentempel chain of vegan cat restaurants, in the Topas Arkade, a listed 19th-century building on Friedrichstraße. It sits a short walk from Friedrichstraße station and the Unter den Linden U-Bahn stop, close to the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island. Opened in June 2025, it has about 50 seats under a glass dome, free Wi-Fi and step-free access. Five resident cats, Artemis, Eos, Hera, Lotti and Pippi, have walkways overhead and their own quiet retreat; they are not for adoption, and visitors can sponsor them. There is no entry fee: guests order from a fully plant-based menu of breakfast, bowls, burgers, sandwiches, cakes, coffee, matcha and lemonades. Guests of all ages are welcome as long as they follow the cat rules, and reservations are advised, especially at weekends. It also hosts events such as painting evenings.
