Purrfect Cat Cafe

Purrfect Cat Cafe is a small cat cafe on Rákóczi út in central Pécs, close to a bus stop and the Árkád shopping centre. Opened in 2019 as the first cat cafe in southern Transdanubia, it was inspired by Japanese cat cafes and has six purebred resident cats: the Chinchilla Persian Plüssi, the Maine Coons Leonardo, Brian and Hugo, the British Shorthair Edison and the Bengal Jacky, most of them from a cattery in nearby Bóly. There is no entry fee; visitors order coffee, monthly seasonal drinks, matcha, lemonades, hot chocolate, cakes and savoury pies. Seating is limited, so booking a table is recommended and free. Families with children are welcome, and staff ask guests to keep the door closed because the cafe opens directly onto a busy road. It is open from Tuesday to Saturday.
