Heidelberg, Baden Wuerttemberg

Katzentempel Heidelberg is a feel-good vegan restaurant located in the lively Bahnstadt district, just a short walk from Heidelberg's Hauptbahnhof. The spacious venue offers around 80 seats across 190 square meters, pairing a warm, casual atmosphere with a plant-based menu crafted in the signature Katzentempel style. Guests can enjoy breakfast bowls, creative sandwiches, burgers, hearty bowls, and desserts, along with coffee, tea, house-made lemonades, smoothies, and a selection of wines and beers. The resident Tempelkatzen have their own dedicated retreat and quiet area within the restaurant, and cat lovers are invited to support them through a monthly sponsorship program. Hosted by Beate Künzer, the Heidelberg location focuses on mindful dining, sustainability, and animal welfare, offering a welcoming space for solo visitors, families, and groups alike.
