Meowcatcafe ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​​​​​‌‌​‌‌‌‌‌‌​‌‌​​​​​​‌​‌‌‌‌‌⁠is a cat anticafe on Iliyas Omarov Street in the Nura district on Astana's Left Bank, in the Absolyut residential complex at the corner of Mukhamedkhanov Street, next to School-Lyceum No. 81. Around 20 cats live here, roughly half of them purebreds such as Maine Coons, Bengals and Scottish Folds, the rest rescued from the street or given up by owners, along with two rabbits. Visits are charged by the hour, with higher rates at weekends and discounts for students, pensioners, large families and visitors with disabilities. The fee includes tea with biscuits, board games, books and a PlayStation, and coffee is sold separately. Guests change into indoor shoes at the entrance and staff explain the rules before they go in; the cats can retreat to a separate rest room. Children from one year old are admitted, and some of the cats are looking for new homes.

Kotiko ⁠‌‌​​‌​‌​​​​‌​​‌‌‌​‌‌‌‌​‌‌​‌​‌‌​‌​​​​​​​​⁠is a cat anticafe on Roza Baglanova Street on Astana's Left Bank, on the ground floor of the building. It is home to about 16 cats that its founders took in from the street and from shelters, among them several Maine Coons. Visits are charged per person by time and include tea with biscuits, a PlayStation 5, board games and books, and ice cream and cocktails are also served. No booking is needed, but children must be at least four years old and staff may ask for proof of age. Guests are asked not to pick the cats up. The cafe also holds film evenings and workshops, and visitors who bond with one of the cats can adopt it.
