Kotomesto is a small cat anticafe on the ground floor of the Fuji shopping centre on Karla Marksa Street in central Arkhangelsk, near Pavlina Vinogradova Square. A large group of cats lives in one room, most of them friendly and used to visitors, and many of them are waiting for new owners. Visits are paid for by time and are best booked in advance by phone or through the VK group; the staff explain the house rules and tell guests about each cat. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday.

Severodvinsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast

Kot-Ok is a cat cafe on the second floor of a building on Karla Marksa Street in Severodvinsk, near the Arkticheskaya stop; the entrance is up a porch with brightly coloured steps. The cats are available for adoption free of charge. Visits are paid by the hour, with tea and biscuits included, and guests can top up with extra minutes, hours or an unlimited ticket. The cafe is a quiet place to spend an hour or two stroking and playing with the cats. It opens in the afternoon on weekdays and from late morning at weekends.
