Katino slėnis

Katino slėnis is a cat café and small restaurant in the centre of Anykščiai, a resort town in north-eastern Lithuania known for its pine forests and the Kalita hill. Opened in August 2025, it was the first café of the Katino slėnis concept, which added a second branch in Klaipėda in 2026. About seven resident cats live in the dining room and greet guests; they include cats given up by previous owners and strays, all checked by a vet before moving in. The kitchen serves pancakes, chicken and pork dishes, a homemade burger, shrimp soup, a weekday lunch menu and apple pie made with local apples, along with Italian coffee. There is no separate entry fee, and the café is popular with families visiting the town.
