The Chat - A Cat Cafe

The Chat - A Cat Cafe is in the Rose District of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. It has two sides: a cafe that is free to enter, where guests can relax, play games, read cat-themed books and browse a small gift shop, and a cat lounge with adoptable cats from the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter and other rescues. The lounge has a wooden cat tree, climbing ladder, spiral staircase, cat treadmill and wall-mounted furniture. Lounge visits are paid by the half hour or hour, and proceeds help cover veterinary care, food, litter, spay and neuter surgery and FIV/FeLV testing. The cafe sells coffee, tea, juices, sodas, packaged baked goods and savory snacks such as pretzel bites. Walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are taken for groups of five or more and out-of-town visitors. Guests are asked to let the cats approach them rather than picking them up.
