The Cats
The Cats is a small restaurant-style cat cafe on Michurina Street in central Saratov, with its entrance from the street. It bills itself as the first cat cafe in the city. Five resident cats of different breeds and colours wander freely around the dining room, and the owner is happy to tell guests about each of them. Unlike an anticafe, there is no entry or time fee: guests order from a full menu of breakfasts, salads, soups, hot meat and fish dishes and desserts, and the kitchen closes an hour before the cafe. The dining room seats about 30 people, tables can be reserved, and the cafe takes banquet bookings. It is closed on Mondays.
