Starry Night Cat Café is a creative late-night haven located at 1141 Clark Street in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, within Portage County, blending the warmth of a coffee house with a mission-driven cat sanctuary. Opened on June 29, 2024, this unique spot offers guests a chance to enjoy locally roasted Condor Coffee and Jeta’s Dietetic Bakery treats—catering to vegan, keto, diabetic, and gluten-free diets—while connecting with adoptable rescue cats from the Humane Society of Portage County in a separate, enclosed lounge. With a vision sparked over two years ago by founder Emily Peterson, the café fosters feline adoptions and community creativity through artistic events in its listening room and a cat room adorned with a "Starry Night"-inspired mural by local artist Alexandra Sosin. Open Monday to Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Starry Night Cat Café provides a purr-fect space for relaxation, inspiration, and supporting cats in finding their forever homes in the heart of Stevens Point.
