Scaredy Cat 貓星人店長室
Scaredy Cat is a cat cafe run by the Yuen Long ice cream brand of the same name (貓星人雪糕), founded in 2015. It takes up the whole second floor above the Citibank branch at 126 Castle Peak Road in Yuen Long town centre, about 11 minutes on foot from Long Ping Station Exit E, after moving to this main-road unit from an earlier shop in Yuen Long. Around 20 resident cats roam the room and its loft area, and the owner looks after them personally. Visitors pay an entry fee and can order the shop's homemade ice cream, including durian flavour, along with bubble tea, coffee and snacks. The cafe is open every day, takes walk-ins only and does not hold seats, so it can fill up at weekends. It also hosts birthday parties for the cats, charity sales and visits from community groups.

Yuen Long0.1 mi / 0.2 km
Cat Planet is a small cat cafe and board game room on the first floor of Kit Man House on Kuk Ting Street in Yuen Long town centre. A group of friendly resident cats, one of them rescued from a pet shop cage, share the room with visitors, and a booklet introduces each cat's name, personality and handling notes. The cats also have a separate room away from the seating area. Entry is charged by the hour, with a cheaper rate for longer stays, and includes either a drink or a portion of cat treats. Drinks cover tea, coffee and soft drinks, with a few cakes and noodle snacks; there is no kitchen, so it is best to eat beforehand. The owner keeps a large shelf of board games, some of his own design, plus miniature wargames, and explains the rules to newcomers. Guests wear shoe covers inside.

Cats Tea Room 貓之茶房 Tsuen Wan
Tsuen Wan8 mi / 12 km
Cats Tea Room Tsuen Wan is the original shop of a cat cafe chain founded in 2014 to help strays. In late June 2026 it moved along Chung On Street to a larger first-floor room at No. 92, about nine minutes on foot from Tsuen Wan Station Exit C or Tsuen Wan West Station Exit D. Its cats are rescued former strays that live here permanently, unlike the adoption cats at the chain's other branches, and coloured scarves mark cats that need extra care. Entry is charged by the hour, with a lower rate after the first hour, and includes free-flow tea and coffee; sandwiches, cheesecakes, drinks and cat treats cost extra. Guests sanitise their hands and change into slippers at the door, cats may not be picked up, and children under 11 need an adult. Board games are provided and the room can be booked for parties and events.
