San Michi Café
San Michi Café is a cat-themed evening cafe on Calle 8 in Colonia Esperanza, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, where resident cats share the space with visitors and can be petted. It opened in early 2026 and bills itself as the only cafe in Neza with real cats. Guests order from a menu of cappuccinos, lattes, tisanes, frappés, smoothies, Italian sodas and milkshakes, along with paninis, crepes, burgers, chilaquiles, enchiladas, cakes and cat-shaped conchas, and cocktails are served later in the evening. The cats are vaccinated, dewormed and sterilised with a specialist cat clinic before they join the lounge, and adoption is free but involves a questionnaire, an interview, documents and delivery to the new home. Mundo Mistu' also runs workshops, cat grooming classes and fundraising outings.
