The ground floor is a pet-friendly Western cafe serving all-day breakfast, pasta, burgers and homemade desserts, with a few cats around. The next floor up is a cat room where diners can play with the resident cats, which include Exotic Shorthairs and long-haired cats; whether it is open can depend on how busy the cafe is, so ask staff. Cats Tea Room 貓之茶房 Tsuen Wan
Tsuen Wan10 mi / 16 km
Cats Tea Room Tsuen Wan is the original shop of a cat cafe chain founded in 2014 to help strays. In late June 2026 it moved along Chung On Street to a larger first-floor room at No. 92, about nine minutes on foot from Tsuen Wan Station Exit C or Tsuen Wan West Station Exit D. Its cats are rescued former strays that live here permanently, unlike the adoption cats at the chain's other branches, and coloured scarves mark cats that need extra care. Entry is charged by the hour, with a lower rate after the first hour, and includes free-flow tea and coffee; sandwiches, cheesecakes, drinks and cat treats cost extra. Guests sanitise their hands and change into slippers at the door, cats may not be picked up, and children under 11 need an adult. Board games are provided and the room can be booked for parties and events.
