Nhà Của Mèo (Cat House) is a small Vietnamese coffee shop with resident cats, down an alley at 13/9 Lê Thánh Tôn in the Sài Gòn ward, the former District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. It moved here in mid-2026 from its old home on Lý Chính Thắng in District 3, and there is no sign on the main street, so it is best to follow the alley number. The cafe keeps only three or four cats, which wander between the tables and often fall asleep on laps or tabletops. There is no entry fee: guests order a drink, and the menu of Vietnamese coffees, salted cream coffee, cocoa, teas and pastries is cheap for the city centre. The room is small and quiet with relaxed music, and it is popular with students and people working on laptops. A nail salon operates on the floor above.

Cherry Pet Coffee CN2 is the second branch of the Cherry Pet Coffee animal cafe, down an alley at 285/94B Cách Mạng Tháng Tám in Hòa Hưng, in the former District 10 of Ho Chi Minh City. As at the original branch on Nguyễn Tri Phương, dogs and cats are the main residents and are used to being petted by visitors; the cafe says every animal is vaccinated and has regular health checks. This branch also keeps eight tame parrots that like to interact with guests, plus a few unusual animals, among them an alpaca, a fox, a ferret and a mongoose, each housed in its own enclosure. Entry was 110,000 VND per person in 2026, and coffee, tea and other drinks are served. The cafe is popular with families, and there is free parking. Méo Meo Cat Cafe District 1 is the second branch of the Méo Meo cat cafes, at 30 Phan Bội Châu, opposite the east gate of Bến Thành Market in central Ho Chi Minh City. Opened in 2025, it is home to more than 20 cats, a mix of adopted, rescued, gifted and purchased cats including Maine Coons, Sphynxes, Turkish Angoras and Munchkins, several taken in from owners who left the country. The cafe does not breed, sell or rehome its cats, all are vaccinated and the males are neutered. RoomB Cat Cafe is a small rescue cat cafe down an alley at 214/B16 Nguyễn Trãi in the Cầu Ông Lãnh ward, the former District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City. The owner takes in cats from shelters and the streets, including injured or sick strays and homeless kittens found by neighbours, and the residents are vaccinated against rabies and look well cared for; a small dog lives here too. Guests order a drink, such as coconut coffee, tiramisu coffee, salted coffee, egg coffee or a matcha latte. Besides the indoor room there is a leafy patio full of potted plants where the cats like to lounge. A donation corner lets visitors give a little towards the cats' upkeep in return for a treat to feed them. The owner speaks English as well as Vietnamese.
