Pet Castle Cat Lounge
Pet Castle is a pet store in the Al Rai commercial area, west of central Kuwait City, with a paid cat lounge, called Kittens Lounge, where visitors spend time with the shop's cats. The company imports purebred cats and dogs and sells kittens under its Kittens Q8 brand, and the Al Rai branch also has grooming, a vet clinic and a cat and dog hotel. The lounge opened in 2023 and holds cats of several breeds that visitors can pet, feed and play with, charged per 30 minutes or per hour. Families with children make up many of the visitors, and staff show guests how to approach and handle the cats. Birthday parties can be booked in the lounge. The store opens daily, from early afternoon on Fridays, and the lounge may close briefly in the morning for cleaning.
