Neko Cafe Keurig Daimyo

Neko Cafe Keurig Daimyo is a rescue cat cafe on the ground floor of the WATT Building in Daimyo, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, about five minutes on foot from Akasaka Station on the subway Airport Line. Opened in March 2008, it is the first branch of Keurig, which has taken in around 1,000 cats since then. About 28 to 30 cats live at the cafe, including rescued cats and cats that came from breeders, and they can be adopted after an owner questionnaire and an interview with staff; adoption events have been held on Sunday evenings. Visits are charged per 30 or 60 minutes with unlimited soft drinks, extensions are billed in 10-minute units, and alcoholic drinks are also served. Reservations are not needed, and the cafe is open every day into the evening. Its sister branch, Keurig The Loft, is about 15 minutes away on foot in Imaizumi.
