Myau

Myau is a cat anticafe on the ground floor of Ulitsa Chapayeva 17 in Yekaterinburg's Leninsky district, about 1.2 km from Chkalovskaya metro station. Opened in late 2017 as a social project, it is home to around a dozen rescued cats, each looking for an owner, and visitors who connect with a cat can apply to adopt it. Guests pay for the time spent in the hall, with a first-hour price and per-minute billing after that, and tea and some treats are included; visitors may bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. The hall has a tea station, books, a PlayStation, a children's corner and Wi-Fi. New cats go through quarantine, and staff explain how to approach the cats, which are not expected to entertain guests. No booking is needed, and discounts apply for children and students.
