Matcha Vibe Bà Triệu
Matcha Vibe Bà Triệu is a branch of the Matcha Vibe matcha drinks chain at 662 Bà Triệu in Hạc Thành, Thanh Hóa, which opened in January 2026 and doubles as a cat cafe; TikTok videos in mid-2026 promoted it as a standout Thanh Hóa cat cafe. Many cats and kittens share the small room, which keeps its door shut and the air conditioning on so they don't get out. No ticket has been mentioned: guests order matcha lattes, coffee and other drinks, and reviewers in July, October and November 2026 complained that the lattes are made with UHT milk rather than the pasteurised milk the menu promises. Reviews in 2026 raise welfare concerns: in July visitors described very young kittens, perhaps not yet weaned, being tossed about by children and a sick kitten left out with guests, and in November a reviewer reported a strong smell and cats with illnesses and fungal infections still out with customers. Google lists it as open from 7 AM to 10 PM.

Coffee Cat
Ninh Binh30 mi / 48 km
Coffee Cat is a cafe and small restaurant with resident cats in Văn Lâm village, near the Tam Cốc boat wharf in Nam Hoa Lư, Ninh Bình. Its open patio looks across rice fields to the limestone karsts, and a group of friendly cats, some of them rescues, wanders between the tables and naps on the chairs, while the kittens are kept in an indoor area. The cafe rehomes some of its cats, and visitors adopted cats from it in October 2026. Visitors simply order from a menu of Vietnamese coffees, including salted, coconut, egg and banana coffee, along with smoothies, tea, beer and cocktails, banh mi, breakfast dishes and full meals. The space is casual and quiet, cooled by fans, with Wi-Fi and seating that suits a long break or some laptop work between sightseeing trips. The family that runs it is known for warm service, and the cafe is a favourite with foreign travellers staying in Tam Cốc.

Thai Binh, Hung Yen57 mi / 92 km
TRẠM - Coffee Mèo & Boardgame is a cat and board game cafe in a lane off Trần Khánh Dư in central Thái Bình, and it calls itself the first cat cafe in the city. A large group of resident cats lives in the house, from round, sleepy adults (an orange cat that naps all day is a regular favourite) to young kittens, and the staff keep cat toys on hand for guests to play with. Visitors order from a menu of coffee, tea and other drinks plus simple food, and can sit at the tables outside the entrance or in the room upstairs. Shelves of board games and books make it a spot for game nights with friends, and the cafe also pitches itself as a quiet place to study. It opens daily from morning until late evening and posts short videos of its cats on TikTok.
Hít Mèo Maina Pets
Van Giang, Hung Yen79 mi / 127 km
Hít Mèo Maina Pets is a cat cafe and pet shop on Sao Biển 8 in Nghĩa Trụ, Hưng Yên, in the Ocean Park area just south-east of Hanoi's Gia Lâm district. It is home to around 20 cats, mostly young and lively, and visitors say most were rescued or adopted, with only a few bought. Guests pay a small entry fee, 25,000 VND in July 2026, that goes towards the cats' food, and the drinks are cheap; on quiet days there may be no staff on hand and visitors buy their own ticket. The room is decorated in a Hello Kitty theme, with photo corners and plenty of cat furniture. The business also sells cat food, accessories and clothing wholesale and retail, offers cat grooming and pet boarding, and gives a free drink to customers who bring their own pet. Opening times can vary, so checking first is wise.
Bastet's Home Hà Đông
Hanoi80 mi / 129 km
Bastet's Home is a long-running cat cafe at 34 Phố Trưng Nhị, just off Nguyễn Trãi in Hà Đông, Hanoi, with sister branches in Đống Đa and Hoàng Mai. A large group of cats of many breeds lives in the small, busy cafe, and most are gentle and affectionate, happy to fall asleep on visitors' laps. There is no entry ticket; instead each guest is asked to order at least one drink, and inexpensive cat treats are sold for feeding the cats. Prices are low by cat cafe standards, and the menu goes beyond coffee to milk teas, cocoa and cheese-foam drinks, plus snacks such as fried spring rolls, garlic dried pork and shaken chicken. The interior has several photo corners, but seating and motorbike parking are limited, so the cafe gets crowded at weekends. It opens daily from 9 AM to 10:30 PM. Reviews in September and October 2026 described many cats with runny eyes and noses and some losing fur.

There is no entry fee with a food or drink order, and reviewers mention juices at around 40,000 VND, fries and cheese ice cream, with soup treats on sale for the cats. Staff do not allow guests to pick the cats up, and some cats are bold enough to steal food from the tables. The cats are taken upstairs to be fed late in the evening, and regulars can get a membership card.
