Lazy Cat Croffle
Lazy Cat Croffle is a cat cafe in a converted industrial-style old building on Zhongshan Road in Hengchun's old town, Pingtung, a handy stop on the way to or from Kenting. Four resident cats, including an affectionate, talkative tabby named Yuanbao, wander across the two floors and are happy to be stroked; staff can give guests some cat food to win over a shy one. The cafe serves croffles, quiche, crème brûlée, lemon and chocolate tarts, caramel lattes, Roman iced coffee, osmanthus coffee and cocktails. Cat motifs run through the tableware, glasses and even paw-shaped ice cubes. The high ceiling and brick walls make the space airy and relaxed, though the upper floor can get warm on sunny days. It is a pleasant place to unwind with a coffee and a cat in the evening.
