Koshkin Dom

Koshkin ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Dom (Cat House) is Grodno's first cat cafe, opened in August 2022 by Andrei and Olga Lastovsky on Vilenskaya Street in the city centre. Its cats are former strays, all vaccinated, treated and with vet passports, and they are up for adoption: by October 2026 the cafe said 61 cats had gone to new homes through it. Visits are booked in advance and are more a guided meeting with the cats than a meal. In October 2026 the cafe's website listed a 90-minute visit at 15 Belarusian rubles a person, including cat-themed tea or coffee (cocoa for small children), a chance to feed the cats and a cat-drawing contest. Groups of eight to ten people can book a private two-hour session, couples can book the whole cafe for a three-hour "fluffy date", and a short tour about the project costs extra. Guests must be at least 10 years old, and children must come with a parent. Sessions are held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Saturday from 3 PM to 5 PM and from 7 PM to 9 PM; book through the cafe's Instagram or by phone or Viber. The cats have a separate room they can retreat to when they want a rest.
