Kis-Kis Diktatury Proletariata

Kis-Kis is a cat anticafe on the ground floor of Ulitsa Diktatury Proletariata 11 in central Krasnoyarsk, near the TsUM department store and the Ploshchad Revolyutsii stop. Opened in 2013, it was the first cat cafe in Siberia. The cats come from the local charity Khvostiki, which selects sociable animals for the cafe; when one is adopted after an interview with the charity, a new cat takes its place, and more than 200 cats have found homes this way. Visits are charged for the first hour and then by the minute, with tea, coffee and biscuits included, and young children pay a flat rate. Guests can play board games, read from the book exchange or use the Wi-Fi among the cats. The cafe hosts craft workshops and birthday parties and can be booked for private events. A second Kis-Kis branch is on Ulitsa Lado Ketskhoveli.
