Several resident cats live inside, including a famously plump nine-kilo tabby named Panghu who greets people at the door and is happy to be cuddled, and the owners will call the others over so guests can play with them. Window seats look out over the village. The menu offers some of the most reasonably priced drinks in Houtong, from around NT$90, along with waffles, quiche, tiramisu, tuna-cheese toast and fried snack platters, and a Japanese menu is available. There is a minimum order per person, but it can be food rather than a drink. Card payment is accepted. It is a relaxed, homely stop between walks around the cat village.
