CopsCats Center
CopsCats Center is the cat cafe and rescue centre of CopsCats, a charity that neuters, feeds and treats the street cats of Oroklini and Pyla on the coast east of Larnaca. The centre is on Thasou Street in Pyla, close to the beach. The ground floor is a cafe serving coffee, frappés, homemade cakes, waffles and sandwiches, including vegan options, which are offered in return for a donation rather than sold. Above the cafe is the charity's foster station, where visitors can spend time with rescued cats and kittens in supervised cat rooms and a playroom, and a few calm cats also live in the cafe itself. The centre looks after around 30 cats at a time, all of them vet-checked and neutered, and finds them new homes. The charity also runs its own neutering clinic. It is open Monday to Saturday.
