Cat Cafe Givatayim

Cat ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌Cafe Givatayim is a monthly cat cafe in the cat house of the Mishan assisted-living home on Metsulot Yam Street in Givatayim, east of Tel Aviv, run by the animal-welfare group Let Live (Tnu Lachayot Lachayot) with the Mishan network. About 30 cats rescued from the street live in a second-floor wing, where residents help care for them and get them used to people, and the cats are up for adoption. Let Live has held cafe Saturdays there since at least December 2024, and a relaunch in April 2025 drew about 400 visitors. It is usually held on the first Saturday of the month from 4 to 6 PM; in October 2026 it fell on the 10th. Tickets are bought in advance on Let Live's website and are pay-what-you-choose: in October 2026 they cost ₪30, ₪50 or ₪100, or ₪5 for children under 7, including coffee, cake and a visit to the cat rooms. Coffee is served in a room apart from the cats, as Israeli rules bar animals from food premises. Proceeds go to animal rescue.
