April's Kittens

April's Kittens is a no-kill nonprofit rescue and cat lounge in Forest Park, Illinois, welcoming visitors who want to spend time with adorable, adoptable cats and kittens. The space is dedicated to saving the most vulnerable felines, including those who are critically injured, medically complex, or living with special needs, and gives them a comfortable environment to recover and socialize before heading to their forever homes. Guests can relax in the cat lounge, meet the resident rescues, and admire the community cat mural wall featuring hand-painted portraits that celebrate beloved cats while supporting ongoing rescue work. The organization also focuses on expanding access to affordable veterinary care for stray cats and low-income families throughout the Chicago area. Whether you are considering adoption, fostering, or simply looking for a cozy visit with friendly cats, April's Kittens offers a warm and welcoming experience.
