Animalia Cat Cafe
Animalia Cat Cafe is a cat café in Gardens Plaza on Budaiya Highway in Jannusan, part of Animalia by Yara, a pet complex with a vet clinic, grooming, pet physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, and a pet accessories boutique. Opened in early 2023, the café serves Italian-roast specialty coffee, drinks and snacks, and visitors pay an entry fee to spend time with resident cats, many of them rescues, in a separate cat area. Cats from the café are available for adoption. The café also runs pottery painting sessions, kids' camps and events, which makes it popular with families, and visits of around 30 minutes to an hour are typical.
